National Core Indicators - Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (NCI-IDD)

  Overview

The National Core Indicators (NCI) project helps Colorado make things better for adults who have an intellectual or developmental disability, older adults, and adults with a physical disability. Vital Research is working with the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy & Financing on this survey.

Vital Research's trained interviewers will meet with adults in person, by video call, or by phone callto learn how well the services they receive meet their needs and how the services could be improved.

If you choose to participate, this survey will give you or someone who represents you the opportunity to share your opinions, feedback, and personal experiences about the services received from the state.

Key Details About NCI

Here are some things you or someone who represents you should know about the NCI project:

  • You may choose to participate or not. Your choice to do the survey will not impact the services you receive.
  • The interview takes about [45-60] minutes to complete.
  • The interview will be either in person or remote via Zoom video conferencing or phone call (AD ONLY).
  • If participating remotely, you can use a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or phone (AD ONLY).
  • Your answers and information will be kept private.
  • If you need help taking the survey you can choose someone, such as a family member or friend, to help you. You cannot receive help from case managers because they assist with the services you receive.
